First of all, guys robbing an internet cafe and people shooting up a movie theater to make a statement are not the same thing at all, not even close.

You know how they keep the movie theater nice and dark and all? It’s great for watching a movie, not so great for trying to shoot back at a guy who is unloading into the theater WITH A FUCKING AR-15.

Not to mention, robbers want money. People shooting up movie theaters? Uh who knows wtf they want. People were going to get killed no matter what. Adding extra shooters into the mix would only have made it worse. 

I mean are people really this fucking stupid? (rhetorical question)
