The Republican field hates you. Now, I know what you’re thinking: ‘Oh, there’s that liberal ranting blah blah blah.’ Not this time, OK? I’m serious: Every single one of them sees you are less than human. Let’s take a look at what some are saying and if you’re against abortion or whatever, try to…
In reference to the Romney thing:
Outlawing the pill would have disastrous effects on women in this country. It’s much worse than simply overturning Roe V Wade (which by the way canNOT be done unless the Supreme Court does it, is that straight in everyone’s mind?).
Churches are shrinking because people are getting smarter
In a nutshell.

If you consider yourself “an agnostic”, this post is for you.
1. Agnosticism is not a belief system, it is a knowledge stance.
The term “gnostic” means “possessing knowledge”. The term “agnostic” means “not knowing” or “possessing no knowledge”. “Theism” refers to believing in a divine entity and “atheism” refers to not believing in a divine entity. Here we see that gnosticism/agnosticism deal with knowledge and theism/atheism deal with belief.
To claim that you are agnostic when it comes to the issue of god is to claim that you do not know if a god exists or not, which most people have down pat. This is the first step.
2. You cannot be an agnostic. It is illogical. You are either a theist or an atheist.
You cannot believe in something and not believe in something at the same time. By saying that you don’t know if god exists or not, you’re also denying that a god exists. Think about it. By not knowing, you’re also not believing in god.
I consider myself an agnostic atheist, which means that I am not positively asserting any knowledge on the subject of god’s existence, but regardless I do not believe in one because it is highly unlikely that one exists.
“Agnosticism” is the same thing as being an agnostic atheist because as I said before, agnostics do not assert any knowledge but they are also actively not believing in a god.
People who claim that they’re gnostic atheists or gnostic theists apparently have definite knowledge that a god does or does not exist, which must have been withheld from the rest of us for some unknown reason. These people claim to know that god exists or know that a god does not exist.
So, in conclusion, one is either a) a gnostic theist b) an agnostic theist c) a gnostic atheist or d) an agnostic atheist. Agnosticism in itself is not a belief system separate from theism or atheism.
I post about this all the time. And I agree.
