The amazing amount of ignorance and narrow-mindness of this post hurt when I first read it. I read it several times hoping for it to be a joke… but unfortuately there is no humor to be found.
First, does NP know what “gay” means? How does allowing gays to marry equal allowing polygamy? Are our kids really too dumb/delicate to handle more than four grandparents? I personally have six because my mother was adopted. I guess I’m lucky that my little baby brain never exploded because of it.
The last line of this post really makes me sick. Don’t you dare use “god” to keep women or men and their children in a dangerous or abusive homes. I’m sure any real god will forgive you for saving your life.
Also, I know that Moses did allow divorce, though reluctantly, to men who were tired of their wives and all Jesus ever said about it was to look toward the law of Moses. He didn’t like it, but it was allowable mostly because women were property. A divorced woman was pretty screwed back in those wonderful Bible days when they sold little girls for cattle and murdered girls for not being virgins. Lets not follow those moral giants, shall we?
Marriage should be about love, not possessions. NP needs to read that book she yells about sometime.
“If you marry a wicked man it is you’re fault and there is a reason god wont save you.”
I would LOVE to have six-eight grandparents. Imagine the Christmas presents!!! Furthermore, I don’t think babies are “worrying” about how many parents they have, on account of them being babies and all.
Am I the only one who’s parents are divorced? If they remarried, I would then have at least 6 grandparents, as well as 2 mothers or fathers, basically.
I feel like these people live in some strange bubble.
