Those of us who run multiple blogs can hit that limit halfway through the day pretty easily.
what is the point of having asks if I can’t answer them? But oh, let’s change the way posts are made because yeah that’s the one fucking thing every Tumblr user was clamoring for.
Fucking nitwits man I swear.
The new Tumblr posting interface is horrible for anyone who wants to write any more than a couple of sentences. This needs to be fixed, yesterday.
Be careful when you reblog photos. I reblogged one, and in the caption it had an invisible iframe that linked to a pornographic image (not in itself a problem), that also set a cookie. This cookie would, from time to time, force redirects on mobile devices (iPhone & Android both) to porn sites or ads.
It sucks that we have to double-check, but there it is.
If this starts happening to you, feel free to let me know and I can tell you what to look for, or I can help fix it.
I would like to add to this post that the code to look for is here:
<iframe frameborder=”0” height=”1” scrolling=”no” src=”http://roulette.racyphotos.net/” width=”1“></iframe>
If you see this in the caption, remove it. Unfortunately, the Tumblr iPhone app does not allow you to edit the existing caption when reblogging, which if you ask me is a massive oversight.
However, reblogs from the normal dashboard are okay, you will see a small grey box in the caption. Click the “HTML” button at the upper right of the rich text editor to see the code that is creating the grey box. If it’s the one above or anything else that looks suspicious, remove it.
Once you’ve done that, clear the cache and cookies in your mobile browser (it only seems to redirect on mobile devices), and you should be good to go.
How to clear your cookies:

Frankly, I have been busy, and am a bit disillusioned by politics in general. I will no longer be maintaining this blog.
However, if anyone out there is interested in running this blog, I would be interested. I would like to sell the domain name, since I have it registered through March of 2014. The site has a Google PageRank of 5, and if you are interested in keeping the domain on Tumblr, it has 2,395 followers as of this writing.
Please contact me via ask here if you are interested in purchasing the domain name and website as a whole, just the domain name, or if you’d like to manage the Tumblr.
Thanks to everyone for 4 years of readership!
We just rolled out some enhancements to the Dashboard!
So, they’ve integrated some more of Missing E’s settings then?
Most pointless, waste of fucking time app ever.
